Transport available?
There are three types of service available.
Community Car Scheme
Volunteers use their own cars to provide transport for journeys
to and from the shops, doctors and social activities.
Eligibility
- Anyone who is unable to use conventional public transport due
to personal mobility difficulties
- No public transport available
- Must be a resident of the following parishes:
- Crowle, Dodderhill, Doverdale, Droitwich, Hadzor, Hampton
Lovett, Hanbury, Hartlebury, Himbleton, Hindlip, Martin
Hussingtree, North Claines, Oddingley, Ombersley, Salwarpe,
Westwood.
- Subject to availability
- Other criteria apply
Royal Rides
This provides a door to door weekday hospital transport service
to Worcester Royal Hospital, Mondays to Fridays.
Eligibility
- Must be registered with a Droitwich Medical Practise i.e. Spa,
Salters or Corbett Medical Practises
- Only for outpatient clinics
- Minimum of 3 days notice required for bookings
- Unable to use public transport
Vehicle Hire
There are two accessible minibuses available for group hire
including evenings and weekends
Eligibility
- Non profit making organisation
- Driver must be under 70 years of age
