Up to date going-ons at Bishops Wood Centre
There has been a lot going on recently within the grounds of
Wilden All Saints Primary School, Stourport on Severn. Staff
from Bishops Wood have been working alongside the students and
staff to create a new attractive and multi-functional new zone
within their school grounds.
The children who attend the school worked with staff from
Bishops Wood from the very beginning of the project, including
creating designs for what they wanted the area to look like. The
ideas were then collated and a final design was drawn up which was
then agreed by the school.
Over the course of three weeks, what was once a large pile of
excess earth was completely transformed into a number of useful
areas with pathways and mounds weaving throughout.
The children love this new area and use it for all sorts of
activities including simply rolling down the mounds, covering
themselves in grass cuttings.
The project is viewed as a great success for all involved and
will hopefully benefit students and staff at the school for many
years to come.
