Emergency Planning

As a Category 1 Responder, Worcestershire County Council plays a critical role in any emergency response. We provide a wide range of support functions that are likely to be called upon to assist the emergency services during an emergency (e.g. social services and highways) and crucially exercise a community leadership role.
