Children, Families and Communities (CFC) are seeking expressions of interest for a temporary Assistant Director to work with the Leadership team over the next 18 months. Directly reporting to the Director for Children, Families and Communities and a member of the Wider Leadership team, the Assistant Director – Early Help and Commissioning will lead, develop and commission a cohesive and integrated range of services and resources which make a positive difference to families and communities and which support early intervention and prevention activity.
This new post will lead on Early Help and Commissioning for CFC and is a great opportunity to support the directorate with the challenging and rewarding work around the Service Improvement agenda in order to commission and deliver efficient and effective services that meet the needs and improve outcomes for children and young people in Worcestershire. The post will lead the implementation of our Children and Young People's Plan whose vision is for 'Worcestershire to be a wonderful place for children to grow up' and the Early Help Strategy working with our key stakeholders and partners to ensure that we are doing the very best for the children of Worcestershire and that we put them at the heart of everything we do.
