Notice from WDC Re: Refuse/Recycling and Garden Waste Service.

Since the snow last Friday’s 18th Jan, we have struggled with collections. Any resident who has not had their bin emptied since then should take their bin back in and put out in a fortnight’s time on the normal collection for that bin.
If their road is still hazardous they may not possibly get a collection. If they wish to put the bins out that is fine but if they’re not collected by the end of the day, we will not be back for two weeks.
Excess refuse is to be put into black bags and excess recycling in clear bags (or old purple) and placed to the side of the bin – if the resident does not have any clear sacks they can collect them from their nearest contact centre in: Droitwich (Droitwich Library), Pershore (Civic Centre) or Evesham Community Contact Centre. The normal alternate weekly calendar should be followed.
We will take excess garden waste in a plastic sacks, however, we would ask people to put out as little as possible and save it to their next collection if they can.
Please not we are unfortunately unable to do a “catch up” collection.
