Review of Worcestershire Partnership Climate Change Strategy Now 08/12/2008 - 27/02/2009 To obtain the views of stakeholders on the review of the Worcestershire Partnership Climate Change Strategy. Review of the Joint Municipal Waste Strategy for Herefordshire and Worcestershire Past 16/02/2009 - 15/05/2009 The Joint Municipal Waste Management Strategy (JMWMS) for Herefordshire and Worcestershire is currently under review. We are consulting on the proposed changes to the current Strategy that have come from the review.

Consultation on the possible closure of Elgar Technology College to allow for the establishment of a new Academy Past 27/01/2009 - 02/03/2009 To explain the option of opening a new academy in September 2009 in place of Elgar Technology College. To achieve this Elgar Technology College would close on 31 August 2009 and for the Academy to open on 1 September 2009. The new Academy would be the first of its kind in Worcestershire. As part of this change some new purpose built facilities would be provided over the period 2009-2012. A public consultation meeting is to be held at Elgar Technology College on Wednesday 11 February 2009 at 7.30pm. November 2008 Citizens' Panel Survey Past 04/11/2008 - 05/12/2008 The questionnaire has two main sections; in the first we aim to find out about how residents would like to be informed about local services and involved in decisions that affect their local areas. The second section concerns health and well-being, it includes questions relating to priorities for health and social care services and questions from Worcestershire Primary Care Trust about local healthcare services

New Governance Model Past 22/10/2008 - 03/12/2008 Residents are being invited to have their say on the future of the make-up of the authority’s political leadership. New legislation means that all councils operating the current Leader and Cabinet model must change. We want to ensure we make the right decision about how our executive decisions are made in the future, which is why we are seeking the views of members of the public. We are keen for as many people as possible to come forward and take part in our consultation process that will contribute towards ultimately shaping how we make some of our key decisions.
